I am currently researching the Mbendjele (Aka) pygmies from the Congo rainforest. My research interests are cooperative breeding and life-history. Some specific areas I am investigating include the role of extra-pair copulations in male reproductive strategies; the effect of allonursing on the cooperative breeding system; and how sources of direct care vary over an individual's life cycle from infancy until maturity.
