My research focuses on the foraging and food sharing behaviour of the Mbendjele hunter-gatherers of Northern Congo. Particular interests include behavioural responses to subsistence risk, the mediation of food sharing by factors such as taboo, reputation and mobility and the effect of life history on foraging strategy.
