My research is based around mathematical modelling and computer simulations of biological phenomena, with particular emphasis on evolutionary processes. As part of the Hunter-gatherer project I am exploring food sharing and egalitarianism under different movement strategies and ecological conditions. My broader research interests include modelling the evolution of human culture, the evolution and effects of decision making strategies and the structuring, evolution and effects of interaction networks (within and between species).
