I am interested in hunter-gatherer childhoods, hunter-gatherer parenting and teaching. During my PhD I will be investigating children's folklore, play, and in general, how children in societies with immediate-return system become egalitarian, with particular interest in demand sharing, transmission of ritual practices, and taboo proscriptions and prescriptions.
